Artist as Appropriator Art343

For this assignment we had to take a picture that we found at a thrift store and collage over it to understand the meaning of dada. I found this painting of an old victorian house.

I looked through fashion magazines to find inspiration. Those were really the only ones i could find. I took parts of expensive designer dresses to make the collage.

When it was coming together I didn't really have a story to it. But in the end it came out as a haunted house with people sitting on the outside being sad about what they couldn't have in life.

 I took the collage to a local animal save in my hometown.
